Exclamation wlan 1370 wireless card using broadcom driver

Hey all, this has been killing me. I have put maybe 20 hours or so on this so far. I have a dell inspiron 2200 laptop with the wlan 1370 card. This uses the broadcom chipset and is a pain in my arse. I have followed several different howtos on getting this working and none have so far. The latest one is http://fedoramobile.org/fc-wireless/bcm43xx-yum-extras

I have gotten to the part about configureing a new wireless card and it says that it should say Broadcom yada yada yada, but I just get "Other wirelss card". I list the types and broadcom is in there, but not the driver I just installed. Here is an lsmod grepped for bcm nothing. When I do a modprobe bcm43xx and then lsmod with grep I get these additions:
> bcm43xx 420705 0
> ieee80211softmac 35393 1 bcm43xx
> ieee80211 35593 2 bcm43xx,ieee80211softmac
> ieee80211_crypt 10049 1 ieee80211

I ran the network config after the depmod, and no broadcom name there, just other as stated before. I selected the only broadcom listed in the list (tigron3 or something) and it didnt work either.

Here is lspci:
02:03.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4318 [AirForce One 54g] 802.
11g Wireless LAN Controller (rev 02)

I am going crazy, what do I keep missing here?
