Right now I am using rh7.3 with *most* of the updates, and I am very happy with. The question I have is: Do I want to download and install RedHat 9.0?
I can never decide when is a good time to upgrade my main computer. Like I said I am happy with what I have.. but it seems so old 7.3 compared to 9.0...

9 does look and feel much better then 7.3
but
read the release notes from 8 and 9 before you jump into it. Between 7.3 and 8 it almost turned into a whole new OS. Many many many changes (easy to work around the bad ones ;))
Do the research with the release notes and see if you can live with it

One thing I have noticed is that programs under 8 and 9 for that matter run faster. You have to take a look at what your running and what your box is mainly designated for. If it is a personal desktop used for surfing and development, switch. If you use it for "business" like sysadmin stuff, hold up until you read the FAQ for 8 or 9 in detail. I have had little if no problems transitioning to 9 from 7.2. But that's just me. :)
Take your time, but in my opinion 9 is nice.
