Alex Cavnar, aka alc6379 04-27-2003, 02:20 AM Not that I'm aware of. If your machine is an older one, like a pre B/W G3 or an iMac, chances are you won't be able to boot any Linux version from CD. Those machines are called Old World hardware, and cannot boot linux from CD due to certain firmware limitations. Newer machines, however, don't have this limitation, but I'm still not sure if there's a bootable CD distro for them. Try Distro Watch (http://www.distrowatch.com). You may be able to prove me wrong by something you find there... Icarus 04-27-2003, 02:28 AM What are the minimum system requirements? * Intel-compatible CPU (i486 or later), * 20 MB of RAM for text mode, at least 96 MB for graphics mode with KDE (at least 128 MB of RAM is recommended to use the various office products), * bootable CD-ROM drive, or a boot floppy and standard CD-ROM (IDE/ATAPI or SCSI), * standard SVGA-compatible graphics card, * serial or PS/2 standard mouse or IMPS/2-compatible USB-mouse. Doesn't look like there is a PPC version... justlinux.com
