Someone congratulate me! I Just threw I out my Windows box! The only reason for having it was to play Medal of Honor (as a kind of expensive game console), now that I have WineX I put Slack on the little *****!! Windows never no more! (Unfortunately I am a sys admin and also have Windows systems to look after, but it's the thought that counts...)

Good job, I hear that MoA with WineX has a few gliches still...but the good news is that it is being ported to Linux by the good folks at http://icculus.org/

Who are also now doing an America's Army port ;)

as I don't games that are not native for nix, this is great news.
looking forward to that.

so far i been kept happy with UT2003, RTCW, Never Winter Nights, and the various quakes. Not to forget the community contributions such as freecraft, cube, uplink, nethack.

Does anyone have any updated news on this? They had it running nativly in January...should be retail by now, so where is it and the status?

The porting thing is definitely good news, they already did a great job on the MOHAA server. Have you got any idea about what stage they're in?
