Still waiting on Drake 9.1 PowerPack -for which I have already paid

I do support it, but the last boxed version I got was Mandrake 7.2. If I had a bad connection, you bet I would be buying them!

Maybe I should make some kind of donation...

And we see you are Linux+ certified to boot. Excellent. I recommend subscribing to RHN as well. Remember that is not included with your boxed set. Or just us apt if you feel you have contributed enough.

So far I have spent between $1500-$2000 just on Linux and Linux related software over the past 4 years, and it's been worth every penny!

Above expendatures do not include books, certification, T-shirts, 6-stuffed Tux dolls, and specifically purchasing Linux supported hardware (for which I make it a point to email the manufacturer and tell them that Linux compatibility was how I based my purchase)

well, I've paid for Suse8.0 and a few books but that's about it. I don't mind dishing out euros every now and then for a good book that's not likely to go outdated too fast. that and the garden variety memorabilia and gadgets (t-shirts, stuffed penguins, etc...) :p

I bought Mandrake 7.0 and 8.2 PowerPack and have got myself a subscription to TransGaming... That's all the Linux related stuff I've bought though.

If I count hardware where I've ensured Linux support, that would be my DVD drive... I made a point not to buy one from anywhere that wouldn't garantee that it would work in Linux.

I have an old boxed version of Corel Linux and SuSE 7.2 Currently however I use Slackware 8.1 and I plan on buying a boxed copy to support Patrick's work. I also have numerous Linux books and a boxed copy of Quake III for Linux

I just noticed that my copy of Running Linux is missing from the photo. (I usually take it to work to read)

I can't wait to build up my new computer, I will be going linux full force.

I currently got P4, 1.5 ghz processor, Radeon 9500 Pro, 20 gb hd.

I am going to upgrade to:

AMD Athlon XP 2800+, Still have my Radeon 9500 Pro, Two 60 GB HD's and my old 20 GB HD, 512 DDR or 1 gig DDR Ram (it depends on the type)

So the I can experience linux the way it was ment to be. No more compaq crap for me :D

BTW, How the heck do you get all that stuff organized :P My room is a mess from hell.

yeah, sorta. I've got a mandrake box around somewhere, And I bought SuSE 8.0 personal. My brother gave me copies of 8.1, but I'm planning to buy 8.2 upgrade as soon as I can afford it.

I have purchased:

RedHat 6.2 Professional
Lin4Win (Old mandrake 7.2 thing)
And my most recent acquisition, I paid $70 US for the 10 disc FreeBSD Power Pack distribution.

I love that FreeBSD set-- I even got a hard copy FreeBSD handbook with it! I know you can find it online, but there's just something I like about having something to flip through.

Oh, and don't get me started trying to count all of the Linux books I have purchased. Just tonight, I bought Linux Kernel Core Commentary and Learning Python!
