I recently installed DebianPPC on my generation 1 Blueberry iBook, and I'm lovin it! Only problem is, there's no sound! I have no idea how I'd go about fixing that/setting it up, and it kind of a pain having no sound.

Any help is appreciated.

<edit> I looked around and found that the sound card is an AWACS sound card, if that helps. </edit>

Try

modprobe dmasound_pmac

and see if you have sound then. If it does, add the line

dmasound_pmac to your /etc/modules file.

Results: "bash: modprobe: command not found"

And a quick apt-get for "modprobe" didn't work either (I installed an extremely minimal system, installing everything else by hand (my hd is only 3gb)).

Any ideas?

*EDIT* I realised i had to do it as root. I did it, the command went through (no output), I ran a program that would put out sound, and nothing came out. I tried raising the volume/pressing the mute button on my keyboard (to see if mute was on), and then realized that my sound keys might not be configured. With that and the fact that I have a minimal system in mind, what sound mixer should I apt-get for (if you haven't guessed by now, I have Debian)? *EDIT*
