Can anyone point me to a Java runtime engine and/or system development kit that runs on Debian Linux on an HP PA-RISC box?

I looked on www.debian.org Java FAQ.
Debian hasn't ported it because of Sun's license.
Sun has Linux ports but not for Linux on PA-RISC.

I checked Blackdown, but they don't show a PA-RISC port.

Kaffe says they support Debian and have ported to PA-RISC, but it is not on their FTP server.

I see Jikes-Kaffe on my system's package distro. tool. But the description reads that this is Jikes only. I don't see Kaffe.

I am running the Woody version of Debian on an HP B2600.

Ahhh.... the joys of non-Intel free OS development (eyeing his Windows/Intel box)

Hmmmm....

btutor's first post and zero replies.

Anyone know of another forum that might be able to answer this question:

"Can anyone point me to a Java runtime engine and/or system development kit that runs on Debian Linux on an HP PA-RISC box?"

For a friend.

I don't really know... but might there be something in Debian's apt repository for PA-RISC? I believe they port everything they put into apt (though perhaps not), so I think that if they have a Java SDK available it'd be available for that platform... maybe.

Thanks for the reply. When I run 'dselect', which is Debian's package distribution tool, the only thing I find is the Jikes-Kaffe package. I tried installing that, but dselect states that this package is dependent on Kaffe, which it can't find. I just updated my dselect database, so it must not be in my distribution.

Thanks,
Brian
