ibook 300mhz, 320MB RAM, 6Gig HD

I am having trouble w/ fdisk. I keep getting thrown back to menu that says I need a swap disk. I,ve tried a dozen times to get this done and am just stuck. I know I, doing something wrong (suspect that "c" and "C" may be problem in fdisk [my problem not fdisks] suggestions?) can anyone shed some light on this for me? TIA

Okay, seems that if you use a non-standard keyboard this hoses things. I use dvorak and set this up in the order given and this is wrong. Must mac-fdisk first. I think.

:) got the drive partitioned but... having trouble getting x configured. Anyone got any ideas on what a working set of values might be for an iBook? Am at work now and can't give error msg at this time but will post later this evening. TIA
