hosting personal web pages

Greetings all,

I am fairly new to Mac and have all kinds of great things about being able to host personal web pages on this thing....

I am wondering if is possible and if so - how to get the rest of the world to see a web page sitting on this machine?

I am running OSX 10.0 on a Powerbook G4

Install a PPC Linux distribution and use apache.

OSX is Unix based and I believe it has apache installed here's a helpful link
