hi everyone,

quick question:

in mandrake 9.1, wheres the php.ini? or is their one?
gotta tweak some settings.

hey i would think that there wouldnt be a *.ini file but instead a *.config or *.conf file, maybe searching for php.config or php.conf would lead you some where.

try this as root

whereis php.conf*

i think thats the right one......
otherwise mandrakes 'find' tool should do the job

It could be in /etc or maybe in your Apache directory. Locate it.

well,
ive found the php.ini(S)

1)php.ini-recommended,
2)php.ini-dist


3)the odd thing is that they are in my /usr/share/doc/libphp_common430-430 "folder"

im gonna go with the .ini-dist, rename it, and make my changes, however i wonder if i do in fact leave it in the above folder or put it in my /etc folder.
