LinkSys NR041 Router

I bought a linksys nr041 router a few days ago, and have since been unable to access the internet from my personal computer. Im running Mandrake 9. Previously the gateway was a windows xp computer running wingate, and that worked fine. Currently, all windows machines on the network have no problems. From the linux box I can ping web sites sporadically, and some sites will partially load, but then they hang. (I might get the first paragraph of text and half a picture) I am completely stumped, no configuration changes I could make on the router have helped, and I dont know linux well enough to know everything I should try on that end. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have this router as well for my highspeed cable connection. It works fine for me but in the research I have done, many people have experienced multiple problems with this router. Are you sure you have DHCP setup correctly? If you open a terminal and type su <Enter> and then ifconfig <Enter> what do you see for your IP Address? It should be 192.168.x.x. I am also using Mandrake 9 on one of my Linux boxes and have no problems.
