I have an Apple G3 with OS/8 installed. What, if any, Linux distribution would be best for me?
Thanks

Not too familar with the PPC distros, but I think Mandrake makes a PPC distro.

Also Yello Dog.

We have a Mac-specific forum, so I'm moving this there.

Yellow Dog 2.3 (http://www.linuxiso.org/distro.php?distro=12)
Mandrake 8.2 (http://www.linuxiso.org/distro.php?distro=29)
Gentoo 1.2 (http://www.linuxiso.org/distro.php?distro=45)
Debian 3.0r1 (http://www.linuxiso.org/distro.php?distro=4)
LinuxPPC 2000 Q4 (http://www.linuxiso.org/distro.php?distro=8)
NetBSD 1.6 (http://www.linuxiso.org/distro.php?distro=16)
Darwin 6.02 (http://www.linuxiso.org/distro.php?distro=60)
GNU-Darwin Beta 2.3 (http://www.linuxiso.org/distro.php?distro=61)

Apple makes Darwin, so you might feel at home withi it, but ive never used it.

all of these are links to the linuxiso.org download page for all of these. just click on the distro to see info about it and where to d/l it.

BTW- here's a link to a download site for some of the various Linux distros:

http://www.linuxiso.org/finddistro.php

Scroll to the bottom of the page and choose Sorting Method->By Architecture->PPC
