when I create a user in linux or samba do I use the same name that I gave network neighborhood in the computer name field, I ask because I can see my computer with the netbios name I gave it and the version of samba, but when I click on it I get a enter password window, I enter the password I created in windows and linux but it tells me it is the wrong password, please tell me what I need to do here?

It isn't the computer name you need to be concerned with, it's the actual user name. Any user who connects to your Samba box must have a valid Samba username/password combination on the Samba box. You do this via the smbpasswd command; read the smbpasswd man page for specifics on the command's usage.
