Is it possible to run in Linux, via Wine or otherwise?
I know 01/02 was possible to run on Wine, but haven't been able find any info on the new release.

No answers, I'm afraid, but would like to see one, if anyone else knows. I tried unsuccessfully to run CM3 under wine -- my problem was that the CD had to be in the drive and the game looked for d:\ -- which it could not find, as I recall. If anyone knows the seven steps for dummies on this one, please share...

You may have to edit your ~/.wine/config file (I think that's where it would be) to setup your cd drive. I had to do that for winex to get one of my games that needed the CD for copy protection to work. As I recall there are some basic instructions in the file itself on how to do that.

Still no joy I'm afraid. I did check the config file and everything seemed correct. wine opened up a debug session and then halted once it had received a bad h_errno. Has anyone out there had success with wine and cm3?

According to the Cedega (nee WineX) database from Transgaming, Championship Manager 03/04 does work quite well under Cedega - maybe its worth a try.

(NB they also have a CM4 link, where the database says 0/5, but the forums indicate that it is working)
