I have just done my first install of Linux and I am attempting to dual boot WinXp and Red Hat 8. I went through the complete install and when I tested my screen setting they appeared fine. Upon reboot I found that X windows hung when it went to iniate the logon screen. I have been searching and I can't find a thing on how to fix this rather disheartening because I have 0 linux knowledge. Any help would be appreciated.
