I was At Bestbuy here in Mpls Mn today. A Microsoft rep was there working with Microsoft customers, and I had to do it.... I Start talking to him after picking up a SuSE8.1 box about linux after about 1 hr this is what I got out of him and was told to keep my mouth shut, so I am :p
No set time: But are close to complition of there new workstation Pro.. Which in his words is Linux and has the command line and will give Red Hat a run for there money???
Any one else out there hereing anything about this?
I personally Want to see Bill go down :)
i don't see why microsoft hasn't invested in a linux alternative already to squash any competition or maybe to replace their obsolete os
isn't microsoft devious? the first time I saw lycrois's website i thought it was microsoft's secret project :>

Personally, i wouldn't trust anything a microsoft rep told me......i'm not a big anti-windows guy (still run win2K occasionaly) but they do have a history of talking s**t :D

First off Workstation Pro being GNU/Linux? Sorry but Microsoft is barred from the Unix market. At no time can it sell it's own unice. Yes yes I'm fully aware of the arguments made that SCOs doesn't really own anything but they do have a contract with MS forbidding them from re-entering the unix market.

Wow and Windows doesn't have a command line? News to me.
I would just like to mention one more thing. It's about the title of this thread. "Bill Gates coming to Linux True or Not True". When the hell will you people learn to differentiate between Windows, Microsoft, Bill Gates and the other software?
Example:
Microsoft sucks. It crashes everyday.
I don't use AOL. I use Microsoft.
I hate AOL. That's why I use Windows.
Bill Gates Coming To Linux.........
And to think that this is the new generation of computer users that want to "lead us in the fight against MS domination".
