Are these two a friendly pair? Can I access/use a Sonicblue RioRiot under linux? I did a google search and found nothing that related to both. Is this possibly a USB mass storage drive? Or won't it be able to be used?
If it can't be, what are my other options for a 20gb mp3 player under $200?
If it does work, what do I need?
Thanks

I don't know for sure about the Rio Riot, but the Rio500, Rio 600 and Rio One are all linux compatible, so it's quite possible.

Rioutil -A utility designed for the use of interfacing with Sonic Blue's third and fourth generation of portable mp3 players; Rio 600/800/900/S-Series/Riot and Nike psa[play. It goes beyond the packaged software by providing downloading .
There seems to be a bit of problems with the S-series but my Rio600 works fine.

Sweet! That's all I wanted to know before I decided what to buy :) Looks like I'll be the newest owner of a Rio Riot soon!
Time to retire my Diamond Rio PMP300 :)
