Hi there,

I've just installed Linux Mandrake 9, and have a problem configuring my VGA-card.

For the moment, It gives me a 640*480 resolution and a very low refresh rate. How can I solve the problem?

I've got a Gainward Geforce 3 Ti200 with 64MB DDR.

Tnx,

Could be an incorrect setting with the display? I've seen that make good configs go bad :)

I am fighting video problems, too, thus no direct help. I wonder if this Geforce card is one of those Nvidia cards which is causing so much grief. If so, Nvidia has a new driver in .run format which automatically installs, released yesterday. No builds, just type the stated command --I hope, because that's what I'm going to try to do. Will let you know if I can (no phone, so can't get my pop e-mail.)

tnx,

that driver installed without any probs.

I've been advised to regonfigure X86config, or something like that... I'll give it a try.
