I have a web address that is web forwarded to my static IP address, when it does this the address window in uses browser changes from www.mywebsite.com to my static IP address/page.html ....

Is there a way to keep the web address name in the address box of the browser, and not my ip address ???? I'm working with many Virtual hosts and need each hosted site name to stay in web address box.

Thanks in advance !!!!

P.S. Working with APACHE 2.0

I think what you are looking for would not be an option under apache, if it was you could be re directed to some hackers website that looked like a Microsoft website just by entering a typo like "microspft.com." I think what you are looking for is called "cloaking." Find out if your web forwarding provider offers it. Right now I have my website set up to show "ww2.case1984.com:5691" after someone types in "case1984.com," it's fairly common with webforwarding, but I would get my IP off of there.

no problem... I always recommend zoneedit, because they are who I use, and I haven't had any problems with them. Does anyone else know of a free web forwarding and dynamic DNS provider?
I've heard of dyndns.org, but looking at their site it looks like they either charge, have pop-ups, or make your sit name into something like mycrappysite.dyndns.org.
