Like the subject says, I can't install any themes in Gnome 2.2.1 running on Mandrake 9.1
I download the scalablegorilla theme, unpack it, and open the gnome theme app, I then use the install theme button, and the theme is moved into my user/.themes folder, but when I open the theme app again, the theme isnt there.
I've tried moving the themes to /usr/share/themes, but that didnt work either.
Anyone knows whats going on here?

It doesn't look good Replica, I've posted this on several Linux sites, but no one has replied.

:( i really wanna skin this manager, i like gnome better than the rest of them so far on 9.1
are you guys clicking on the Details button after installing the theme?
is this theme a Gtk theme, Icon theme, or a Metacity theme?

they are gtk themes, i cant even get the ones in the /usr/shared/themes directory (that come with the distro) to work, they all install to my user/.themes folder fine like they are supposed to, but you cannot select them using the theme manager.
edit: and details doesnt do anything
