Boot Discs damn it

Well I am trying to make a boot disc, but it doesn't seem tow rok, i write the boot.img to the floppy usig rawrite and it starts up and when i pick say text installation it says loading intrid.... that works
it then says loading vmlinux..... but then says half way through that like warning please insert the other disc, i dont know why, can some one help.

usually for booting a computer from floppys so a linux install can start from a mounted CDrom there are usually two floppys BOOT & ROOT...



someone correct this if i am wrong...

That's true in some distros, untrue in others. What distro are you using?
