I'm looking for fellow suse users. I currently use suse linux 7.0 professional. I'm just learning and would like to talk and get help from others who also use suse. Also can anybody tell me what changes there have been in the later versions of suse, 7.1, 8.1, etc. SUSE sent me this software for free a few years ago so I can't get any official technical help. And until recently I didn't have a computer that it worked on. So it was gathering dust. Now I would like to rely on Linux and stop using MS-Windows all together. My e-mail is: wolfspider70@hotmail.com. Also I have a message board at my website. http://wolfstorm3.tripod.com. You can send me messages at either two places or leave one here. Also, if there is any interest, I could create a suse info. section on my website. If this sounds like a good idea let me know. Thanks.

I'm using 8.0. I haven't tried any of the other versions yet because I don't have the $$. I'm real happy with .oh though. It is just as fast as Slackware 8, simpler than Mandrake 9 to install, and the packaging system works flawlessly. I think my boot up time is about as fast as BeOS.

For some of the differences you can visit Distrowatch.com. There is a table there that shows the different versions of the software there.

Also, there are lots of reviews if you do a Google search that talk about the new features in each preceeding release.
