okay, so i got an iso for Slackware 8.1 and installed it and when i installed it asked me what window manager i would like to use. i specified WindowMaker but i want to try a new one (possibly black\flux box) so i edited my xinitrc file (in /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc) and it just loaded WindowMaker anyways. what's going on? am i doing it wrong? the slackware install gave me a different xinitrc file for every window manager it gave me. so is it not the xinitrc that controls which window manager i use? the installed files should work, i think. thanks in advance.

At a command line type " xwmconfig " without the quotes of course and choose from there.
