I'm looking for a programm to UPLOAD my works and which can handle a FrontPage login on "our" server.
All the search functions (Google, forums) returned only the other side of FrontPage Extensions: How to set up a server!
I'm looking for a client, for ANY client!
The only solutions found "Change your provider" :(.
NO, I don't look for another provider. Everything is fine, the entire family can can edit their own domains, which are "secured" by the FrontPage login. And FrontPage is doing well under Windows XP.
But we would like to work under Linux and even if there's only vi for web pages we would accept it.
But I can't upload anything b/c there is nothing like "Name" & "Password" to fill out! Please help me. It's frustating beeing able to download a site with Konqueror but not uploading it!
Of course there is a ftp - but only 1 for our 15 domains. Each single domain can be accessed alone but is protected with the FrontPage extensions. E. g. under Windows my daughter can edit her page but can't havoc my sons' pages. Is there no solution under Linux? If there are so many threads about installing FrontPage with Apache, then there must be a need. Well, here it is: someone wants to get on those servers without running Windows!
