Hi All,
I'm running Redhat 8.0 on my desktop and laptop PCs, with great success. I love it!
I've customized quite a few gnome preferences on my desktop PC, including the launchers and other stuff in the panel, the screen saver, the background, etc. I'd prefer not to go through and re-customize all these things on my laptop as well.
I know all the preferences for gnome are kept in the .gnome, .gconf, etc directories in my home directory, but I don't want to mess anything up by just blindly copying my entire home directory from one machine to the other. Which configuration directories/files should I copy?
Of course, I'll be sure to back up the conf directories on the laptop before trying anything!
Thanks,
Dave Rea
