Hey,
I'm just looking as sites like mldonkeyworld.com and it's entirely made in PHP with styles, so you change the style of forum and the entire site changes.

I would like to make a similar site but the only PHP guides I can find at like 800 pages explaining it from scratch with plenty of things I need to learn, and I am willing to learn, but I must make a similar PHP site to mldonkeyworld.com by the end of next month and I'm afraid I won't read enough by then.

Is there a simple guide somewhere how to use the already made PHP code like phpBB on mldonkeyworld and stick it on my webserver with my own custom design? (my webserver supports php and mySQL)

Edit:
Also, can you recommend some basic webpage making books that give you a background of software to use in linux to make webpages, html+php+mySQL webpages and how it all works. Preferably basic books without going into how major corperations do it, lol. Thanks

PS: Keep in mind that I'm a n00b at this and even though I set up Apache and FTP servers before, I'm null when it comes to programming. I only done a little bit of Pascal and a bit of HTML ;)

..See www.phpbb.com, and the best book's probably "PHP and MySQL Web Development"

www.geeklog.net is also an alternative.
