Is there any way to change the resolution in KDE...I mean in windows I'd just right click on my desktop and go to properties>settings and move the slider....How do I do that in Linux....sorry but I'm totally new

Alt. + should make the screen size larger Cntrl. Alt. - should make the screen size smaller you can also reconfigure x or edit /etc/X11/XF86Config the filename for xfree4 is a little different make a backup !
