I have a bunch of really nice wallpapers that I would like to use. I would like to have KDE randomly choose one each time I logon to KDE. I start from a terminal, and type startx to get to KDE. Is there a way to maybe specify a folder for it to search for pictures in?

*bump* i have been wondering this too........without using KDM i can't seem to work out how it's done :(

In the KDE Control Center for KDE 3.1 under Appearance & Themes, Background, Wallpaper tab, there is a option for multiple backgrounds of which you can select the interval under Setup Multiple.
