At first I liked the 'feature', but nots messed up and has gotten on my nerves. Seems if I were to type something in on the run dialog, and if it wasn't intalled (say Gkrellm for instance), it would fire up YaST and install it for me. This was very nice, until I found it no longer to work, either by me installing something without YaST, or YaST just messing up.

Now, even if the program is installed, it will prompt me like it isn't. It works fine if I just type it in konsole (will fire up gkrellm), but if I use the Run dialog, it starts up YaST to try and install.

I use Alt+F2 alot to start apps (its so much faster than a menu), and its really begun to be a hassle. From what I gather, its a kmenu problem, but I can't find any menus, etc, taht would be messing this up. I also found the directory

/etc/opt/kde3/share/applnk/SuSE/Settings/YaST/notinstalled, but moving or renaming didn't help (restarted KDE too. I'm out of ideas, but would really like to find a fix for it.
