Anyone familiar with GnoSens (http://www.it.unikol.com.pl/~adolf/gnosens.html) applet for Gnome? It gets it's data from /proc/dev/sensors . Even though I have lm_sensors installed I have no /proc/dev/sensors and therefore it doesen's work.

Sure I can get output from /usr/bin/sensors , but I really would like to have a gnome applet that shows a real-time info of my CPU and motherboard temporatures.

Anyone have a solution to a) get gnosens to work OR b) other gnome applets that get the temperatures from lm_sensors?

Try /proc/sys/dev/sensors instead. At least that is what my lm_sensors uses.

OK...I just had to tweak /etc/sensors.config and unload some unused sensor modules. I think gnosens didn't like it when there was too much output.
