Hi, I have been playing with linux for a few years,on and off (more off) have a duel boot machine with XP pro and mandrake 8 very happy box! Installed mandrake 9 on a PIII 550 for my kids to play around on, it installed like a dream fixed sound problems. when i tried to leave X during shutdown it does not give option to go into console mode.yes i know I could start without x but that involves work for the kids, those six letters could turn them back to windows
and Tux would never finish that race!!
If there are any quick answers please let me know. I will try to solve myself but any
advise would be great.
