i'm running mdk 9.0 and i was wondering if there is a way to make the menu panel in gnome to move to the bottom of the screen, ive been looking all over and i cant figure out how to customize that, damn im retarded.

I don't use gnome or kde or anything like that but just as a guess have you tried dragging it down there?

I am using an older version of gnome for Mandrake 8.2. I moved my panel by right clicking on the panel. selecting panel.....then selecting properties...I then selected orientation. I do not know if this will work on newer versions. Other than that look in the gnome control center. Sorry i could not help you more...Hope this helps.......Chris

Right-click on empty space on panel, click on properties, look at picture of the panel (labelled "position") and click where you want the panel to be.
