DNS Server Question

Hello,

I am a newbie to RedHat 8.0. In the last week I have learned a lot. With the help of this form. Thanks to all that help me.

I need your again.

I am reading this book and it got me a little bit confused. It is saying one thing and showing a example diffrent. So I need to know what is the right information so I can make the changes in my book for future referance.

I am trying to set-up a DNS Server. I have two network cards hook into my Linux box.

I want eth1 to be the internet connectionn Device and eth0 to be the local network.

Which one do I make the trusted device?

Which one do I apply the firewall to.

And which one is going to be the gateway (I am assuming eth0)

I'm sure my foot is waiting for the ole mouth to open wide enough, but I set the internal nic as being trusted and also, I set that as the gateway device.
