The rpms for RH8.0 kde3.1 have finally made it to stable, and is available right now through apt. I'm running it right now and it's awesome.

If you have apt-rpm (freshrpms.net), add this to your /etc/apt/sources.list:

rpm ftp://apt.unl.edu/apt/ 8.0 kde3 kde3-extras

This should take care of many dependencies, and Yes, Bluecurve is included.

How about apt-rpm as mentioned above? That should work.

yeah, you have to use it through apt-rpm. it's available from freshrpms.net. Whan you install that, add the ftp site to /etc/apt/sources.list with all the options, then run apt-get update, apt-get install kde, and apt will do th rest of the work for you.
