New modem (internal)

I've just got myself an internal modem as aposed to my current external, serial modem. How do I set it up so I can use the internal rather than the external modem.
NB I did not set up the external one a friend of mine did it for me but he is not available at the moment.

All depends on if it is a hardware pci modem or a winmodem.

Have you tried any of the JL Modem Help Files?
