Hello All,

Newbie question (1st Post): Running Redhat Linux 7.2

trying to install python-2.2.2-7.i386.rpm and this is what I get:

[root@tc-linux-srv ctruong]# rpm -Uvh python-2.2.2-7.i386.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
rpmlib(PartialHardlinkSets) <= 4.0.4-1 is needed by python-2.2.2-7
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.3) is needed by python-2.2.2-7
libdb-4.0.so is needed by python-2.2.2-7

what is rpmlib?
I don't see it on rpmfind.net
I am really new here and need all the help I can get. Step by step commands would help.
