changing distros

I currently use drake 8.2 but im going to switch to RH 8.0

my question is... can i have the installation keep everything in /home
i know its possible because its on a separate partition and all.

does anyone know what the optionis i need to choose when in install?

You should choose expert when it comes to partitioning and point /home to your preferred /home.
