HI all, I'm a new poster. Great looking board you have here. Well, just a little bit about me is that I've been a MS user for quite a long time, back to the waayyyy old days of DOS, haha. But, I'm finding Linux to be an extremely fascinating OS choice. I picked up a teach yourself linux book at the library and I read it just like I'm reading the Lord of the Rings trilogy - page after page. I'm hooked...
So, here is my first question. I have XP and Red Hat linux 8.0 on my system. I used LILO for my boot sequence. Everything is working excellent. I just registered with Red Hat and downloaded the updates for the system, and now when I start my system, instead of just DOS and Linux as my boot options, it now has DOS, Linux, and Linux bat. Where did that Linux bat come from and can I delete it somehow?
Thanks much ;)
