How good is PHP 4.3.0 for compatibility? Or how about Apache 2.0. I hear they have some compatibility issues.
I am running RedHat 8.0 with the newest Kernel listed in up2date.
I plan on running a intranet webserver on this machine along with a Webmin interface for some admin work, also Samba will be ran on this machine. If I have RH 8.0 should I maybe be running PHP 4.2.3 or Apache 1.x until later?
We will not be using anything like php-nuke, etc. It's all hand-made PHP scripts (tested and designed on Apache 1.x w/ PHP 4.2.3 servers).
