hey everyone, Im a linux newbie. I've been seeing many people with things like "Registered Linux user #xxxxxxx". What is that and how do I register.

And whats everybodys number, specs, just because

Just go to the Linux counter (http://counter.li.org) page and follow the links. You can register yourself and/or your machine. They even give you a cool little image with your number on it. Here's mine:
