problems with apache and virtualhosts

I get an error of:

Failed to start apache :

Starting httpd: [Thu Feb 6 13:41:56 2003] [warn] NameVirtualHost 65.114.204.177:80 has no VirtualHosts
[ OK ]


I have no clue why Apache keeps doing this to me. I'm using Red Had 7.1 and Apachie 4.0.44 trough webmin.

Hi,

Have you looked at you httpd.conf file? /etc/httpd/conf

How's your virtualhost section look for your domain?

Do you have and entry like so:

<VirtualHost XX.XX.XX.XXX>
DocumentRoot /home/bogus25/www/
ServerAdmin me@bogus25.com
ServerName bogus25.com
ServerAlias www.bogus25.com
</VirtualHost>

I recommend manually editing your httpd.conf file anyway using emacs or vi whichever you prefer. Redhat's apache configurator for 7.1 may not give you the results your looking for.
