solution:
step 1: read the directions
step 2: read the directions again
step 3: Freak out cause its not working
step 4: read the directions again and realize that you are the idiot making it difficult onyour self
step 5: play tux racer

by the way, i downloaded the wrong package. ifyou are looking at this post for a solution, make sure you have the right packages.
