I recently decided to give linux a try, I find it extremely challenging and for that I was hooked.
however I found it to be a pain in the butt to switch between it and xp just for the sake of gaming needs.

well today I installed quake3 arena and ut2003 demo........wow they actually run better on linux than my xp, now im really hooked on this os.

I am running redhat8 and have experianced 0 hardware issues, now if I can only get my favorite game dod running on it, out goes windows partition all togather.

Right on... Linux rocks. That's all I need to say.

I have only recently switched fully over to Linux. It only took about 7 years from installing Linux the first time to now Linux only.

I'm a slow learner and so much time is needed to learn something. Linux has everything I need apart from Windows only games which I never bothered playing anyway. I've got XMAME! :D

me too, resently installed them both (it took me ages to download them with my 56k modem), but they are both great, especially ut2003, which is of course a more resent game... I never thought it'd make it, altough I have a geforce2... but it really is great in 1024x768 (which is as far as my tft can go, so I wouldn't know if my system can take too higher resolutions...).

but you know what? I just wait for parsec... it's not the greatest game but it's closer to my tastes and it's open source...

we'll see. keep checking linuxgames.com and linuxgaming.net :D
