I'm sick of KDE... Every time I get it configured the way I want it, it CRASHES!! There's got to be a desktop out there that is both configurable and stable. How about Ximian? Anyone using it? Help me out here!

I prefer using no desktop environment, and using specialized programs for what I need (which isn't much) When you run fluxbox or waimea for a while, maybe add iDesk for desktop icons, and some random taskbar from freshmeat. You'll be surprised how good it looks/functions, and how much extra resources you have available to you. justlinux.com
