hey, pardon me for being a moron, but I'm pretty ignorant of the apps that dock in the 'taskbars' and such in different windowmanagers and desktops.
I was looking for a small app to mimic the system tray icon in windows that displays rx/tx lights cooresponding to traffic on your nic. More *specifically* i was looking for one that would dock into the KDE task bar. now, I found netleds, but its says its for gnome, and as a Gentoo user, I didn't want to have to sit through emerging and compiling it and its dependencies for 4 hours just to find out that I cant run gnome docking apps in KDE.
So, whats the skinny? Is there one for kde? would this one work in kde even though its for gnome? And/Or are there any other apps like this you could reccomend?
(p.s. I'd rather not have one of the 'graphing' ones, just blinkity lights ;)
thanks in advance for any input.
