I guess this is what i get for trying to use a beta kernel to get my sound working. oh well feel better now.

I can get it to compile but when I install it comes up unresolved symbols when I try to boot to it. it sits there after saying uncompressing image

Its a shame that I went to school to an engineer and banged my head against many a wall to quit on the first day.

If you have a problem with a kernel compile, this is certainly not the forum to be asking.

I would suggest you delete this thread and repost in Technical if you actually need assistance.
