I have RH 7.0 and kernel 2.2.16. I'm wanting to install the latest KDE. What do I need to do for the installation. Will the latest KDE run on my kernel?

Thanks.

i would think you could get kde at www.kde.org , but there are no redhat rpm's overthere ( same for mandrake ) so chances are u can get kde over at www.redhat.com .

If you goto kde.org they have a self installation program called konstruct that should take care of compiling it for you. I was able to install it that way, I just can't get it to get open up in my rh8.0. Sorry I can't be of more help, wish I could,
Paul
