could some one list some sites for gentoo downloading? I tried gentoo org but it does not responding

If you decide to install then once you come to d/loading edit /etc/make.conf and add the line (if it's not already there)

GENTOO_MIRRORS="name of mirror"

complete with quotes. The main Ibiblio site is getting hammered at the moment and d/loads from the UK can drop as low 1k/sec even for broadband, I tend to favour d/loading from the scandanavian ones.
