Does anyone know how I can get TigthVNC 1.2.8 (the i386, .RPM) to load into Mandrake 8.1 (soon to be 9.0) on startup? Or a place that can give me a how-to for TigthVNC for Linux?
I need to configure it and set it up as a running service to I can remote control my Mandrake (and possible RH down the road) workstation (as I already do with Windows 2000 Pro and Windows 98SE).

Anything to help on the TightVNC website?

G4L search results for 'tightvnc' (http://www.google.com/linux?hl=en&lr=&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=tightvnc&btnG=Google+Search) should find documentation to help.

Another thread just up/down from yours on VNC may also help (The VNC link I posted).

Thanks, I will look into that. I decided since Mandrake 9.0 was download on my other PC right now, that I wouldnt mess with anything on the 8.1 until i get 9.0 freshly loaded onto it (eaiser that way).
