I just got a bunch of codecs for mplayer, because mine says this
CPU: Intel Celeron Covington/Pentium II Deschutes,Tonga/Pentium II Xeon (Family: 6, Stepping: 2)
CPUflags: MMX: 1 MMX2: 0 3DNow: 0 3DNow2: 0 SSE: 0 SSE2: 0
Compiled with RUNTIME CPU Detection - warning, it's not optimal! To get best performance, recompile MPlayer with --disable-runtime-cpudetection
Reading /root/.mplayer/codecs.conf: can't open '/root/.mplayer/codecs.conf': No such file or directory
Reading /etc/mplayer/codecs.conf: can't open '/etc/mplayer/codecs.conf': No such file or directory
(copy/link etc/codecs.conf (from the MPlayer source tree) to ~/.mplayer/codecs.conf)
But, I have no Idea what to do with them. I just need to know where to put them and if I need to do anything to them. Thanks
